How it Works:
What is a meat share?
Buying meat in bulk is the best and easiest way to confidently feed your family high quality protein all year round.
Buying trusted meat in bulk is made easy with our meat shares. You can purchase a quarter, half, or whole hog or beef from our farm, then we will care for the animal according to our guiding farming principles. We will transport the animal to the butcher for you, and you select exactly how you want the meat processed according to how your family will enjoy it.
Then, your freezer is stocked with delicious & nutrient-dense pasture-raised pork or grass-fed beef, and meal planning just got easier.
What to expect with your meat share:
1) Reserve your share
Join our email list to be the first to know when we open our next round of pork or beef shares!
2) We raise the animal
You can sit back and relax while we do all of the dirty work (literally!). You can confidently await your pork or beef knowing that the animal is roaming in fresh pasture and forest, eating a varied diet that is building nutrient-dense meat for your family.
Quality meat is loading!
3) We transport to the butcher
Self explanatory! We already secured the date at the butcher. You will pay us per pound hanging weight after the animal is received by the butcher.
4) Custom processing
We work with a local butcher that will process your meat share to your specifications.
You will be in contact with the butcher about one to two weeks before the butcher date to choose how you want the meat processed. (Check out our blog post, The Home Cook’s Guide to Basic Pork Cuts, for some inspiration).
You get to choose exactly how the meat is processed - exactly how your family likes it!
5) Pick up your meat
The butcher will contact you when the meat is ready, and you will be responsible for picking it up. Can’t pick it up yourself? Just let us know and we can arrange to pick it up for you!
You will pay the butcher separately for butchering and processing fees.
The meat will be frozen, labeled, packaged, and ready for your freezer!
6) Fill your freezer and cook with confidence!
Yay! You’re stocked with regeneratively raised, farm fresh meat!
Meal planning just got easier and you get to sleep easy knowing you have high quality meat to feed your family.
